Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the predictive value of syndecan-1 (Syndecan-1) combined with vascular hemophilia factor (vWF) in predicting acute trauma coagulopathy (ATC). Methods: A total of 238 acute trauma patients admitted to our hospital's emergency department between March and December 2024 were selected and divided into ATC group (76 cases) and non-ATC group (162 cases) based on ATC occurrence. Clinical data differences were compared univariately, multivariate logistic regression was performed to analyze factors influencing ATC development, and ROC curves were plotted to assess the predictive value of Syndecan-1 combined with vWF. Results: Among the 238 patients, 76 (31.9%) developed ATC. Univariate analysis showed statistically significant differences in prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), Syndecan-1, and vWF levels between ATC and non-ATC groups (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis confirmed these biomarkers as significant predictors of ATC development (P<0.05). ROC curve analysis indicated a 0.781(95%CI:0.808-0.934 )area under the curve for Syndecan-1 combined with vWF, with sensitivity of 0.856 and specificity of 0.823. Conclusion: Syndecan-1 combined with vWF demonstrates predictive value for ATC development in acute trauma patients.
