Clinical Efficacy of of Magnesium Sulfate Combined with Xueyaping Granules on Pregnancy-induced Hypertension and Effects on the levels of LIF, Apelin and Beta-HCG in Serum |

Abstract Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of magnesium sulfate combined with Xueyaping granules in the treatment of pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), and the effect on serum leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) Apelin and β-chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG) levels. Methods: 90 patients with PIH were enrolled of our hospital from December 2015 to December 2016. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group (n=45). In the control group, 45 cases were treated with intravenous infusion of magnesium sulfate and lapelol hydrochloride tablets. 45 cases in the experimental group were treated with Xueyaping granules. Changes of serum LIF, Apelin and β-HCG levels were compared between the two groups. Changes of systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after treatment were observed, and the pregnancy outcomes of different treatment groups were observed. Results: The total effective rate (88.89%) in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (64.44%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in LIF, Apelin and β-HCG levels between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of LIF were significantly increased, and the level of LIF, Apelin and β-HCG was significantly higher than that of the control group (752.38 ± 31.57 VS 703.01±32.02 (P<0.05). Apelin and β-HCG levels were significantly decreased, and the level of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group (233.33 ± 23.56 VS 271.69 ± 24.83), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) (15772.96 ± 1705.93) VS (11473.19 ± 1698.87)], the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the experimental group were lower than those of the normal group (135.8 ± 6.9) VS (153.1 ± 8.7), and the systolic and diastolic blood pressure (88.0 ± 5.8) VS (92.97 ± 5.7)], the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the control group (35.56%), the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Xueyaping granule combined with Magnesium Sulfate treatment for patients with PIH certain effect, can increase the level of LIF, serum Apelin and beta -HCG level, reduce the level of blood pressure and improve the outcome of pregnancy.
