| Efficacy of Ray Bella in the Treatment of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis in Elderly Patients and its Effect on Serum Levels of Gastrin and Endothelin |

Abstract Objective: To study the effect of Ray Bella in the treatment of senile chronic atrophic gastritis and its influence on the serum levels of Gastrin and Endothelin. Methods: 100 cases of elderly patients with chronic atrophic gastritis admitted in our hospital from July 2014 to July 2015 were selected and randomly divided into observe group and control group (50 cases in each group). Patients in the control group were given omeprazole (20mg/time,2time/day), levofloxacin (0.2 g/time,2 time/day), and furazolidone (100mg/time,3time/day). Patients in the observation group were given rabeprazole azole (20mg/time,1time/day), levofloxacin (0.2g/time,2 time/day), furazolidone (100mg/time,3 time/day). The treatments for patients in both groups were last two weeks. After treatment, the serum levels of gastrin and endothelin, the adverse reactions and the efficacy between treatments were compared. Result: After treatment, the GAS and ET levels in patients of the observation group were(176.38±13.29)ng/L, which higher than that in patients of the control group(142.27±12.32)ng/L; While, serum ET level(62.82±5.72)ng/L were lower than that in patients of the control group(78.39±6.59)ng/L. The differences of the two items were all statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence rates of adverse reactions in observation group was 10.00%(5/50 cases), which less than that in the control group 38.00%(19/50 cases). The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.00%(47/50 cases), which higher than that in the control group 76.00%(38/50). The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); Conclusion: Ray Bella has a significant effect in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis in elderly patients, which could significantly improve the level of serum gastrin, reduce the level of endothelin, and reduce the incidence of complications.
